2. son of Loki
3. a dwarf

1.
Vali or Ali ("Terrible") was the son of Odin and the giantess Rind, born in the Vestsalir ("The Western Hall").

He was a god of nature and vengeance and spring.

Vali was born, when Baldr died and grew up to a man in only one night. Then he revenged Baldr's death and killed his brother Hödr.

"From the branch which seemed | so slender and fair
Came a harmful shaft | that Hoth should hurl;
But the brother of Baldr | was born ere long,
And one night old | fought Othin's son."

"His hands he washed not, | his hair he combed not,
Till he bore to the bale-blaze | Baldr's foe."

(Voluspo)

The Volva (Baldrs Draumar) prophecied Baldr's death and Vali's avenge too.

His hall called Valaskjalf ("Seat or Shelf of the Slain").

"How should Váli be periphrased? Thus: by calling him Son of Odin and Rindr, Stepson of Frigg, Brother of the Æsir, Baldr's Avenger, Foe and Slayer of Hödr, Dweller in the Homesteads of the Fathers."
(Skaldskaparmal XIX)

Bo was another name of Vali.

2.
Vali, the son of Loki and Sigyn, was changed into a wolf (by the gods) and torned Loki's son Narfi to pieces. Then the gods took bound Loki to a rick with Narfi's bowels.

According to the Poetic Edda, the gods turned Narfi into a wolf and Vali was torned to pieces.

3.
Snorri listed some dwarves (like the list of the Volva in the Völuspá), one of them was named Vali.
