Tiwaz was the germanic chief-god, god of the sky and war.
He was identified with the nordic god Tyr. Like Tyr he was replaced by Wodan (norse Odin).
Tiwaz was one-handed (like Tyr) and a great warrior.
The rune "Tiwaz" was dedicated to the god.
