Surtr

Surtr ("The Pitch Black"?) was the first being, a Fire-Giant. When he trained with his sword Surtalogi, the fire fell through Niflheim's glaciers and created the primal Rime-Giant Ymir and the cow Audhumla.

Surtr was the ruler and guardian of the fire-world Muspellheim and the Fire-Giants.

His wife was called Sinmore, she was the queen of Muspellheim.

At Ragnarok, he'll lead his army of Fire-Giants to the asgardian battlefield and will kill the weaponless god Freyr. Then he'll throw (with his sword Surtalogi) fire in all nine worlds and the worlds sink into the sea.

Sometimes he was called "Muspell" and the Fire-Giants "Sons of Muspell".
