Skirnir

Skirnir was one of Freyr's servants and his messanger.
Once Freyr fell in love with the beautiful giantess Gerdr. He gave Skirnir his powerful sword, a magic horse and a magic staff and sent him to Gerdr's house. There Skirnir made everything to win the fair maid for his master, he offered her great gifts (the ring Draupnir, Idun's apples), but she rejected him, then he threated to kill her, but she still rejected him. After that Skirnir begann to course her with his magic staff, sayin' that she'll become very ugly and noone will ever marry her, then she agreed and married Freyr.

At Ragnarok, Freyr will die, becouse of the missing of his magic sword.
