Sif |
She had beautiful gold hair and was a fertility-goddess and goddess of vegetation. Before she married the thunder-god, she gave birth to a son named Ull, the father is unknown. She bore Thor two daughters, Thrud and Lorride. She's best known for the story, when the trickster Loki lopped off her golden hair. Thor saw that and became very angry, he immediately wanted to kill Loki, but this promised that he can replace the hair. Loki went to the dwarves Brokk and Sindri, the sons of Ivaldi and asked them to spin gold as fine as Sif's hair. With magic it growed on her head. It was said, that once she betrayed Thor with Loki. So, maybe Loki was Ull's father (I know, that's far-fetched).
