The Futhark was a germanic alphabet: It's runes had names and were associated with gods or other mythological things.

The rune "Wunjo" (or Wynn) belongs to "Freyja's Aett". Wunjo was dedicated to joy, peace, luck, harmony, binding, fulfillment, friendship, hope and sexual joyness.
