Mannaz

The Futhark was a germanic alphabet: It's runes had names and were associated with gods or other mythological things.

The rune "Mannaz" (or Man) belongs to "Tyr's Aett" and was dedicated to the human being, the divine structure, divine link, to the first men (Askr and Embla), intelligence and androgyne.

Meaning: Man, Human Being
