Nerthus

Nerthus ("The Subterranean") was the sister and first wife of the sea-god Njoerd. Maybe she was the mother of Freyr and Freyja.

Ingun was propably one of Nerthus' names.

She was sometimes identified with the earth-deity Fjörgyn.

The only information I found about Nerthus was that she was the mother of the race of the Vanir. Originally she was a germanic goddess, later she was also identified with the nordic goddess Jörd.
