Norse Mythology Introduction On this site you can find the Myths, worshipped in Skandinavia (Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Iceland). The basis of what we know about norse mythology are the Eddas (Prose Edda and Poetic Edda). The skandinavians believed that the worlds (the "Nine Worlds") were created out of a primal abyss called Gunnungagap and that these worlds were connected by an ash-tree, Ygdrasil. They had many powerful gods, heroes and creatures, giants, dwarves and elves. The chief god of norse mythology was Odin, his mighty son was called Thor and his enemy was Loki, the god of fire, the giants and the inhabitants of the underworld. We, the CyberSamurai-Clan, try to create the greatest encyclopedia of Norse Mythology ever made and hope you'll enjoy it!
