Iarnsaxe

According to the Poetic Edda, Iarnsaxe ("Iron-Sword") was, by Odin, one of Heimdall's nine mothers ("The Billow Maidens").

She was the daughter of the sea god (giant) Aegir and Ran.

Jarnsaxa was propably just another name of the "Billow Maiden". She was a giantess, mistress (or wife) of Thor and mother of his two sons, Magni and Modi.
