Hvergelmir

The third and eldest of the wells was Hvergelmir ("The Cauldron-Roaring"), protected by the dragon Nidhogg. It was in the midst of Niflheim, near the third root of Ygdrasil.
Hvergelmir was the origin of all being and the place where every being will go back.
Elivagar ("unknown waves" or "poisonous stream") were the twelve streams, flowting out the Hvergelmir. The Elivagar filled the emptyness of Gunnungagap and freezed in the regions of Niflheim.

The other two wells were the "Well of Urd" and the "Mimir's-Born".
