Hugin and Munin

Hugin ("Thought") and Munin ("Memory") were Odin's two ravens.

They sat on Odin's shoulders and fly fourth daily to bring him news of the world.

"O'er Mithgarth Hugin | and Munin both
Each day set forth to fly;
For Hugin I fear | lest he come not home,
But for Munin my care is more."
(Grímnismál)
