Gjallarhorn

Gjallarhorn ("Shrieking Horn") was the horn, with which Heimadll will announce the beginning of the last battle. Till Ragnarok it is buried under the world-tree Ygdrasil.

It was the horn, out of which, Mimir drank the water of the wisdom's well.

"Fast move the sons | of Mim, and fate
Is heard in the note | of the Gjallarhorn;
Loud blows Heimdall, | the horn is aloft,
In fear quake all | who on Hel-roads are."
