Giants (Thursar)

Thurs means "Giant".

In skandinavian mythology, the giants were the enemies of the gods, especially of the thundergod Thor.

Not every giant was an enemy of the gods, there were also some wise giants, giants that became gods, the greater part of the gods were offsprings of the giants race.

Races of Giants:
- Hrimthursar (Primal Rime-Giants)
- Jötun (Frost/Rime Giants)
- Fire Giants

The giants could be divided in some subcategories:
- Mountain-Giants
- Sea-Giants
- Storm-Giants

- The sun (Sol) and the moon (Mani).

- Wise giants: Mimir, Vafthruthnir, Volva and the Norns
