The wolf called Geri ("The Greedy") was one of Odin's two wolves, the other one called Freki ("The Ravenous").
Odin never ate something, he gave everything to Freki and Geri. Odin himself only drank Mead.

Geri and Gif were two hounds, mentioned in the Svipdagsmál.
