Gerdr

Gerdr, Gerd or Gerth ("Fence, that protects a field") the fairest among women, was the daughter of the giants Gymir and Aurboda, her brother, who'll be killed by Freyr, was called Beli.

Freyr, who fell in love with her, sent his servant Skirnir (with a magic staff, a magic horse and his sword) to Gymir's house. Skirnir made everything to become Gerdr for Freyr, but she always rejected him, till he began a course.
In the end Gerdr agreed and married Freyr in the forest Bari.

She bore him (propably) a son named Fjölnir.
