Brisingamen

Brisingamen was the name of Freyja's necklace. When Loki told Odin that she slept with four dwarves to receive it, Odin went angry and ordered Loki to steel it.

Odin agreed to gave the necklace back to Freyja, only on the condition that she starts war between two kings: Hogni, king of Norway and Hedin Hjarrandason.

The four dwarves that created the nechlace were the Brisings ("Twiners"), and their names were Alfrig, Berling, Dvalin and Grer.
