Bothvild

Bothvild was the daughter of Nituth, king of Sweden, and sister of two brothers.
When her father Nithut learned that Völund was alone at Ulfdalir he sent his men to Völund's hall, but the hero wasn't home. The king's men stole one of Völund's rings, which was given to Bothvild.
The king captured Völund and brought him to the island Saevarstath, where he had to fashion treasures for the king.
Once the two brothers, sons of Nituth, came to the islands and were killed by Völund:
"Their skulls, once hid | by their hair, he took,
Set them in silver | and sent them to Nithuth;
Gems full fair | from their eyes he fashioned,
To Nithuth's wife | so wise he gave them.
And from the teeth | of the twain he wrought
A brooch for the breast, | to Bothvild he sent it
"
(Völundarkviða)

When her ring was broken Bothvild went to Völund, who gave her beer till she slept and raped her.
Then he flew with a feather-garment to Nituth's palace, where he made the king made swear an oath to do his wife and his child no harm.
He flew away and was naver be seen again, but before he told Nituth that he killed Nituth's sons and that Bothvild was pregnant with Völund's child (Vithga, or Witege, one of the heroes of Dietrich of Bern).
