Bifröst

Bifröst, the Rainbow-Bridge, was the only way to come from Midgard to Asgard.

The Bridge was guarded by the god Heimdall, whose hall, Himinbjörg was located at the end of the bridge.

With magic and three colours, the gods created the bridge named Bifröst, under this bridge there was nothing as fire.

The gods rode each day over Bifröst to their judgment-seat.

When the Fire-Giants come over the rainbow-bridge (at Ragnarok), it will break beneath them.

Also called Asbru ("Aesir-Bridge") named after its creators, the Aesir and Bilrost.

Bifrost was made out of three colours, red, blue and green, Fire, Air and Sea.
