Bekkhild

Bekkhild ("Small River Warrior"?) belonged to the race of the Budlungs. She was the daughter of Budli and sister of Atli, Brynhild and Oddrun.

Her husband called Heimir, the brother-in-law of Brynhild, who took care of the letters daughter (Aslaug).

Bekkhild and Heimir had a son named Alswid (the most courteous of men).

Unlike her sister Brynhild, who was a real warrioress, Bekkhild learned handcraft.
