When Helgi (son of Sigrlin and Hjorvarth) was grown up, he and Atli avenged his mother's father and killed King Hrothmar. They also killed the giant Hati ("The Hateful"). In the night, after they slew the giant, Atli kept watch during the first part of the night. Hrimgerth ("Frost Shrouded"), daughter of Hati, came to the ship and had a vigorous argument with him, till sunrise, when she died ('coused by the sunrays).
