Angantyr

There were two characters with the name "Angantyr" in the Poetic Edda:

1. a warrior
2. a Berserker

The warrior Angantyr lost a wager with Ottar (Poetic Edda: Hyndluljoth - The Poem of Hyndla)

2.

The other Anagantyr was a Berserker ("Bear-Shirt"), son of Arngrim and Eyfura. He was born in Bolm.

He was one of the twelve Berserkers listed in the Poetic Edda: Hyndluljoth - The Poem of Hyndla
