Andvarinaut

Andvarinaut ("Andvari Gem") was a ring cursed by Loki and/or the dwarf Andvari.

The ring produced, like Draupnir, gold, but brought pain and misfortune to all who hold it.
Once, Loki stole the ring and gave it to the dwarf King Hreidmar, who was killed by his son Fafnir. Fafnir then transformed himself into a dragon to protect his treasure.

Later the young hero Sigurd came, killed the dragon and took the ring.

The ring caused the death of many great heroes: Sigurth, Gunnar, Atli, etc...
