Allsvinn

Allsvinn ("Very Fast") or Alsvidr ("All Swift") was one of the horses that drews the Sun's chariot. The other horse was Arvakr.

In norse mythology, runes had magic power. To manage their work, Allsvinn had a rune in its hoof and Arvarkr in its ear and the shield Svalin ("The Cooling") to protect them from the Sun's embers.

They were chased by the wolf Skoll and at Ragnarok the wolf will kill them.
