Aegir's Hall |
With his wife and servants, Aegir lived in a hall, near the island Hlesey, where he brewed ale for the gods. Every winter the gods came to his hall and drinked his ale. Aegir used gold, instead of fire, to lit up his hall, therefore gold was called "Aegir's fire".
